I'm late in my review! But we got Maddy (aka Poppy) almost 2 months ago.
Before we decided on a puppy, I asked Dorothy LOTS of questions. She was extremely patient, transparent, and not once pushing on us to make a decision. I really appreciated that, and from speaking with Dorothy - she is extremely knowledgeable and you know she wants the best for her puppies and puppy parents!
Now - for Maddy: She has been an absolute joy to our family! She sleeps through the night from day 1. She is picking up quickly on house rules and understands where/ what she can and cannot do. She has mastered quite a few tricks now including sit, wait, high five, and lay down! And her temperament is spectacular! We love Maddy so much and so happy that we found Dorothy and Puppy Perfectionist!

Took home our precious baby, Ollie last week. We’re so in love, he is absolutely perfect. Dorothy arranged for her trusted transport company to deliver Ollie to us from Kansas to Massachusetts and he was home 2 days later. Took Ollie to the vet the other day and they mentioned that he was the most well behaved puppy they’ve seen in a long time. She certainly takes care of & trains these babies well. Dorothy has also recommended training tips, eating tips, etc. Couldn’t recommend her enough! Thank you so so so much, Dorothy!

“I can’t say enough positive things about Dorothy and @Puppyperfectionist! We had Coco (Bell of the Pepper litter) delivered to us at 11wks and she’s now 18 weeks and we’ve gotten to know her better. Coco stayed 3 extra weeks for puppy kindergarten which in my opinion was worth every penny. She has been crate trained since day 1 thanks to Dorothy. She takes naps during the day and sleeps through the night in her crate, never cries in her crate, and never has had an accident in her crate. At her first grooming visit, the groomer said Coco was not like other puppies, and was so calm and quiet throughout the process. She is the sweetest dog with a perfect temperament for our busy family with two kids. She goes with the flow, gives endless kisses, loves to play but also is perfectly content sleeping on the couch next to us. She has easily adjusted to our family’s schedule and we just adore her. Liberty Acres was recommended by Dorothy, and they delivered her to us at 11 weeks. The process was smooth and easy (and affordable!). “Dorothy is the best! She absolutely is experienced with breeding. We had multiple pugs in the past and then decided to change breeds to a Cavapoo. Dorothy answered all our questions, and I will personally say, our Benjamin is the best breed dog I’ve ever owned. He loves being held, is happy in the sling, playful, and is very social able. He sleeps through the night since the first day we got him, and pretty much potty trained. If anyone is looking for a wonderful puppy, Dorothy is the breeder to call!”

“Dorothy truly is The Puppy Perfectionist! We adopted our sweet girl Lilly (Brigitta) from Dorothy and boy was it one of the best decisions we ever made! Lilly is everything we ever hoped she would be. We were terrified to take the plunge to add another pup to our crew, but Dorothy made this the most wonderful experience we could have asked for. She pours her heart and soul into these pups and it’s clear to see! Having bad dogs my whole life, Lilly is by far the easiest pup I’ve ever had. She loves her crate, she adjusted to her new home so quickly, she’s wonderful with my kids and my older dog, and she sleeps through the night for 8 hours without a peep!!! The amount of work the puppy stage usually requires can really scare people away from the thought of adding another dog to a home. But when you adopt a dog from Dorothy, who values the importance of a puppy’s emotional and physical health and starts the training before they even leave her, it certainly gives you a head start advantage. We have found our dream dog and it’s hard to remember what life was like before Lilly joined our family. Thank you Dorothy!!!!!”

“Dorothy at Puppy Perfectionist is so amazing. We picked up Bandit, (Formerly Mason from The Bees) yesterday. He played and slept over the 3.5 hour drive. We stopped to potty, which he did easily and quickly. He came with no eating aggression, so well socialized and unbelievable behavior for a 3 month old. I put his blanket from Dorothy in his crate. We played with toys around the crate and he easily went in and out of the crate on his own. He slept quietly for almost 7 hours in his crate. Dorothy gave us so many tips and tricks.
